Welcome to the VUM Robotic Workshop!

You’ve just joined the Alpha Coder Team at Maker Camp, and it’s your first day! You’ve been assigned a mission to clean up an old abandoned factory located at the edge of the woods near base camp. As you begin exploring, you discover the first Very Useful Monster!

Now the real adventure begins.

With each robotic workshop, you’ll build and customize your own robot monster using real technology like servo motors, LEDs, wires, wheels, 3D-printed and laser-cut parts, microcontrollers, instructions, a parts list, online resources, and more! No prior experience is required, and the kit includes everything you need to get started right away. No boring lectures. No lame instructions. By the end, you’ll know how to code, wire up electronics, and think like an engineer. Plus, you’ll have a robot monster that actually does stuff like move its mouth when it hears you speak, and rolls around your house, by remote control, grabbing onto things with its pinchers!
